  • Primp announced that all remaining Minnesota boutique locations will close on Dec. 23 (with its Rochester store having already closed last summer), and the chain has launched a Farewell Sale with 50% off items as customers shop one last time.  KROC-AM

CULTURE NEWS

  • On Dec. 31 at 7 p.m., Minnesota theaters will screen Stranger Things: The Finale +in eight local venues+ with showings running through Jan. 1. Tickets +can be reserved+ on each theater's website.  KROC-AM

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Stewartville School District will operate on a late start schedule today after a tragedy on Dec. 12, with no morning preschool and a 7:30 a.m. staff meeting for updates; law enforcement and mental health professionals are available to support student well-being.  KIMT

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • MnDOT says drivers in Minnesota can legally pass a snowplow, but caution is advised since wing plows extend several feet into the lane and may be hard to see in heavy snow. Drivers should use extra care on winter roads to avoid a dangerous situation.  KROC-AM
