- ➤ The Rochester Cultural Center is holding its grand opening today at 2 pm at 15 15 US 14 after 20 years of planning by private and nonprofit groups. The event features a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live music, guided tours and interactive art activities for all ages. KIMT

EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A Rochester Public Schools official said today that a student misused a system error to send a mass email with inappropriate content to many students. - ➤ The Olmsted Soil and Water Conservation District will offer native seed mixes and plant kits on its website from Dec. 8 until April 2026; the kits include grass, sedge, and wildflower seeds plus 36 plugs of six species to help butterflies and remove buckthorn, with pickup at Graham Park mid-May.
