- ➤ Hiawatha Homes’ Festival of Trees is in its 40th year and is on display at the Kahler Grand Hotel Downtown from Friday to Sunday. More than 80 decorated trees are shown and donations help support needed disability services. KTTC
- ➤ The Rochester Youth Hockey Association's Peewee A and AA teams are hosting a drive called Mustangs Hockey SHUT OUT HUNGER at Graham Arena to collect food and basic items for The Landing MN, a nonprofit aiding people without stable homes, with the drive running through December 2. Players, families, and community members are donating items like beef sticks + Hormel Compleats, fruit cups, and hygiene products as the teams compete to collect the most. KIMT
- ➤ Families met Santa on Friday at Sargent’s on 2nd Avenue — the site of the annual S’mores and Santa event — where festive activities, live music and treats brought holiday cheer. The free event continues today and will offer additional sessions tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KTTC
- ➤ Yesterday, the Rochester Fire Department rescued Santa Claus from atop Old City Hall for the 51st time during the Here Comes Santa Claus festivities—he then helped light the Peace Plaza Christmas tree with Mayor Kim Norton and held free photo sessions at the Galleria mall. KIMT

- ➤ Kwik Trip unveiled its 2025 holiday cup design that it calls 'wrapping paper for coffee' and said the cups will arrive in stores the first week of December. - ➤ Sal Terrae, a new boutique from the Downtown Next Door Retail Pop-Up Shop initiative, opened on November 22 at Fagan Studio (324 Broadway Ave S) and is run by Lori Tauchnitz with her daughters Emma and Taylor, who moved from online sales to a physical storefront.
