- ➤ State gas prices are at $2.94 per gallon today, about 5 cents higher than Thanksgiving 2024’s average of $2.89—AAA Minnesota said these rates remain below the national average. - ➤ Turkey prices have dropped over 16% nationally this year according to the American Farm Bureau’s Thanksgiving survey, but the Peterson family’s Ferndale Market in Cannon Falls has kept its prices steady on free-range birds—selling fresh turkeys for about $3 per pound and frozen ones at $2.29. The farm kicks off its annual Turkey Fest today and runs through November 26 so customers can order directly for Thanksgiving. KTTC
