- ➤ The Downtown Dazzle Parade will take place on December 6th at 5:30 p.m. in Rochester, starting at the Edison Building and following a route that ends at 1st Street NW and 1st Avenue NW. A social celebration occurs in Peace Plaza with Santa and Mrs. Claus after the parade—proceeds benefit the Salvation Army. KROC-AM
- ➤ Tomorrow is Give to the Max Day, a Minnesota giving holiday that supports local schools and nonprofits, and the campaign has raised over $355 million since 2009. Local organizations — many of which rely on this fundraiser — are preparing for the online event. KTTC

- ➤ Townsquare Media Rochester's local marketing team works to help area businesses grow with custom radio and digital advertising campaigns—reaching 96,500 radio listeners and more than 500,000 monthly digital users. - ➤ Kasson native Cori Kennedy exited The Voice during the knockout round after performing 'You and I' and thanked fans on social media for their support; she had impressed viewers with her audition and was celebrated on October 28th during Cori Kennedy Day—her exit marks the end of her journey on the show. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Nearly 2,400 students visited the RCTC Regional Sports Center on Tuesday to explore STEAM career opportunities at the annual summit hosted by the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. More than 100 vendors connected with middle and high school students to help build industry contacts for future education and career paths. KTTC
- ➤ Rochester Public Schools shared its state-required achievement report on Tuesday, detailing student performance and new goals from kindergarten through high school to boost early learning, close achievement gaps, and improve college-readiness. The report showed a reduced projected deficit from $10 million to about $8.4 million with higher graduation rates in most student groups+ the district will introduce a new four-year strategic plan in the spring to guide academic and budget decisions. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Highway 52 at the I-90 interchange reopened Monday after more than seven months of construction work that rebuilt the eastbound I-90 bridge and added a flyover ramp for Highway 52 south. MnDOT said the $28 million project—serving over 6,000 vehicles daily on one busy left-turn ramp—will resume work in April to complete the final improvements. KTTC

- ➤ Rochester will host two exhibition hockey games at the Rochester Rec Center on December 21 at 7 p.m. where Denmark faces Switzerland and on December 23 at 7 p.m. when Switzerland plays Sweden ahead of the World Junior Championship starting on December 26 in the Twin Cities. KTTC
