BUSINESS NEWS

  • Sun Country Airlines will add nonstop flights from MSP in 2026—introducing popular summer routes along with new service to Tulsa and Cancun. The airline will extend its selling schedule through September to offer more affordable travel options for Minnesotans.  KROC-AM

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Snooki, the largest sea turtle the Minnesota Zoo has ever housed at 310 pounds, was rescued from New Jersey in 2016 and cared for until now — she will soon debut in the new Atlantic Reef exhibit with stingrays, eels, and tropical fish.  KROC-AM

SPORTS NEWS

  • Section 1 playoffs in southeast Minnesota ended on Saturday, with seven football teams and three volleyball teams earning state tournament berths. In volleyball the Fillmore Central Falcons will face Ada-Borup-West on Thursday—Chatfield will face Esko while in football teams start quarterfinals on Thursday through Saturday before semi finals at US Bank Stadium— as they prepare to advance further.  KROC-AM
