- ➤ Madden's on Gull Lake near Brainerd was named as one of the top five resorts in the Midwest by Conde Nast. The seasonal resort operates from April through October and offers golf courses, pools, and beaches for family fun. KROC-AM
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ iLuminate, a glowing dance show featuring LED costumes and throwback hits, will entertain families at Mayo Civic Center on October 28. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. — the event offers a screen‑free night for all ages. KROC-AM
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s State Fire Marshal division and the Rochester Fire Department launch a statewide campaign to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning by offering free CO alarms installed at no cost to residents beginning today at Rochester Fire Station 2 — the effort is supported by a federal grant and memorial legislation from the Burt family.
