- ➤ 25-year-old Manamany Abella, already serving a five-year term for a past conviction, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in the deadly drive-by shooting in Austin in June 2023 — he received credit for 782 days served and three people have been convicted in the case. KROC-AM
- ➤ An overnight collision in Stewartville around 2:18 a.m. Friday injured a Rochester driver and led police to arrest a 24-year-old Brooklyn Center man on suspected drunk driving—he was processed for DWI and taken to the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center. KIMT
- ➤ Rochester police arrested Keywan Johnson (31) after a brief foot chase near Sandbar Court NE for his suspected involvement in two shootings less than 24 hours apart, and they are continuing to investigate the incidents. KTTC
- ➤ Rochester police arrested 31-year-old Keywan Johnson—accused of shooting at occupied vehicles in two drive-by incidents in northwest Rochester—after a brief foot pursuit, with no injuries reported and his first court appearance scheduled for Friday morning. KROC

- ➤ The EEOC filed a lawsuit against Mayo Clinic after a security guard was denied a religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine policy—seeking monetary damages and changes to the clinic's policy in the U.S. District Court for Minnesota.
