- ➤ Paws and Claws Humane Society rescued 27 dogs from a hoarding situation in Washington County — the nonprofit raised over $100,000 after finding the dogs in a home lacking bedding and clean water to address dental issues. KTTC
- ➤ Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview celebrated its 150th anniversary over Saturday and Sunday as community members gathered for a Sunday morning worship service — Pastor Phil Augustine explained the church began in 1875 with informal gatherings by German Lutherans that led to the current sanctuary. - ➤ Zumbro Lutheran Church celebrated its mobile food truck ministry's 10th anniversary yesterday — the truck serves free meals every Thursday in southeast Rochester — and church leaders said the program has built trusted relationships with volunteers and guests. KTTC

- ➤ The second annual Lance Pfrimmer Memorial Run is scheduled for August 9 at Eagles Aerie #2228 and will feature an 8K run and a 1-mile walk to support a scholarship fund for high school athletes who continue in track & cross country. Last year, the event raised $21,776 and organizers hope to meet or beat that amount as they honor Lance Pfrimmer's legacy. KIMT
