ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Fillmore County State Patrol responded to a motorcycle crash on Highway 16 about 3 miles south of Lanesboro on Sunday morning when 44-year-old Kimberly Ann Karg of Hutchinson, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by Lanesboro Ambulance to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries. - ➤ Motorcyclist Kimberly Ann Karg, 44, from Hutchinson crashed on Highway 16 just before 11:20 a.m. — about 3 miles south of Lanesboro — while traveling north and was taken by ambulance to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries after not wearing a helmet. KROC-AM
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Rochester authorities charged 22-year-old Curtis Lamond Caradine with first-degree aggravated robbery in connection with a drug deal that led to a June 17 shooting at the Gates Apartments—no injuries were reported. KROC
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Rochester Public Utilities launched a program to replace lead and galvanized water pipes at no cost to homeowners. The utility is contacting eligible property owners—many of whom have homes built before 1979—and plans to complete the project by the end of 2028. KROC-AM
