- ➤ A Rochester woman is facing charges for leaving her toddler and dog in a hot, locked vehicle at Foster-Arend Beach on June 2—witnesses said she was away for about 20 minutes before police arrived. KROC-AM
- ➤ Rochester police reported five suspected overdose deaths since early Friday as a man was found outside an apartment on 31st Street NE at 4:45 a.m., a man was later discovered not breathing at a residence on 8th Street Northwest, and early today, officers found a man and a woman dead in an apartment on 3rd Avenue NE; preliminary investigations indicate fentanyl may have contributed and police are seeking tips on illegal drug distribution. - ➤ Rochester police are investigating five suspected drug overdose deaths that occurred since early Friday, starting with a man found dead at 4:45 a.m. outside an apartment on 31st Street NE—a second incident at a residence on 8th Street NW and a later case at an apartment on 3rd Avenue NE where a man and a woman died were reported—with preliminary findings that fentanyl may be involved and urging anyone with information to come forward.
