- ➤ Rochester police are asking the public for help in investigating a Saturday morning incident on a bike path near the 800 block of 16th Street Southwest where a runner was grabbed and sexual acts were simulated— the suspect, a thin Black male in his 20s wearing a Minnesota Twins beanie and red pants, is similar to one reported in April. - ➤ City officials said the state bonding bill provides $650,000 for Silver Lake Skate Park improvements+ the project will cost about $1.4 million and is part of a broader $10 million plan that includes a new aquatics center adjacent to the park. Construction on the aquatics center began last fall+ work is set to continue through summer and fall with a grand opening planned for next year. KROC
