- ➤ Rochester Police responded to the theft of a 15-year-old's fishing pole near Silver Lake by buying him a new rod after he filed a report—his father said he was in tears and both expressed gratitude for the help from nearby Burger King employees. KIMT
- ➤ Rochesterfest 2025 will begin on June 21 at Soldiers Field Park and run until June 28, featuring free events and activities. The festival offers music acts, a veterans memorial walk on June 23, a Million Dollar Shootout, and a parade on June 28 plus local discounts for those wearing themed buttons. KROC-AM

- ➤ Izayah Frazier, an inmate serving a five-year sentence for a shooting, is charged with check fraud—he is accused of depositing six checks totaling $5,993.88 at a local credit union and withdrawing $3,998 before the fraud was discovered. KROC-AM
- ➤ On Christmas Day last year, Rochester police stopped 33-year-old Anthony Dominique Lindsey for an equipment violation and found him smoking marijuana as a female passenger tried to hide a baggie, a search revealing nearly 84 grams of methamphetamine and 2 grams of cocaine before he pleaded guilty to first-degree drug possession and DWI and received a six-month jail sentence with work-release and two-year probation as part of the Olmsted County Drug Court treatment program. - ➤ A 33-year-old Rochester man, Anthony Dominique Lindsey, was sentenced after a Christmas Day drug bust where officers found nearly 84 grams of methamphetamine and about 2 grams of cocaine following a failed sobriety test, and he received a six-month jail sentence with work-release and probation while being accepted into the Olmsted County Drug Court treatment program—if he fails probation, he could face a 115-month prison term. - ➤ Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch in Stewartville is hosting its 39th Annual National Wheelchair Sports Camp, a six-day event with more than a dozen activities such as water-skiing and zip-lining that will run until Thursday. Camp director Craig Blanchette said the camp featured American Paralympian Daniel Romanchuk’s address on Sunday—strong bonds helped participants connect, and plans include a 40th anniversary celebration next year with special events for veterans.
