- ➤ The University of Minnesota Rochester has requested over $7.7 million to build new classrooms and labs at Discovery Square, and the City Council will vote on the proposal Monday evening. The nearly $10.4 million project will use sales tax and DMC funds — with additional support from the UMR system. KROC

- ➤ Minnesota officials advise homeowners to properly dispose hazardous items such as batteries, paint, and electronics to protect people, the environment, and sanitation workers.
