- ➤ On Thursday night, a car and motorcycle collided on Hwy. 63 in Spring Valley when a 26-year-old Rochester driver and a 27-year-old unhelmeted motorcyclist—who is now fighting for his life at St. Mary’s Hospital—were involved as authorities suspect both had alcohol in their systems. KROC
- ➤ A Spring Valley motorcyclist who was not wearing a helmet or lights suffered life-threatening injuries after being rear-ended on Highway 63 near midnight Thursday — a Rochester driver was unharmed though both had alcohol in their systems. KTTC

- ➤ Rochester police arrested a 64 year old man, Darrel Schroeder, on Thursday night after he allegedly pointed a loaded shotgun at his neighbors during a gathering on the 1900 block of 50th St NW, with officers finding him lying on grass & booking him into Olmsted County Adult Detention Center before 11 p.m. KROC
- ➤ Rochester police arrested 64-year-old Darrel Schroeder in northwest Rochester around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday night after he allegedly threatened neighbors with a loaded shotgun at a gathering—he now faces charges including assault with a dangerous weapon, threats of violence and carrying a pistol under the influence of alcohol.
