At 7:25 a.m. today, the Rochester Fire Department went to a house fire at 312 36th Avenue Southeast where thick white smoke was seen near the roof with no visible flames—firefighters used fans to put out the blaze and search for occupants while one firefighter got a small hand injury and the home suffered heavy smoke damage that may lead to a total loss.
