- ➤ A study from DuelBits ranked Minnesota as the fifth-best state to achieve the American Dream by measuring homeownership, income, education, debt, and life expectancy. In Rochester, the homeownership rate is around 74% and median household income is near $89,000 (above the national average). KROC-AM
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A two-lane highway near Rochester will have a multi-month closure on 75th St NW starting Monday for turn lane construction, reducing the road to one lane between 40th and 50th Aves NW. A temporary stop light will manage traffic; work is expected to finish by June 30 (weather permitting). KROC
- ➤ Olmsted County Department of Public Works announced that a 2-mile stretch of 75th St NW near Rochester will be reduced to a single lane for turn lane construction starting Monday. The closure, controlled by a temporary stop light, is expected to end by June 30, weather permitting. KROC-AM
