CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Rochester Police are investigating a series of early morning ATM burglaries at local businesses with six incidents reported since early March at Whistle Binkies on the Lake on March 5, Zen Fusion the following week, Chip Shots on March 31, Alerus Bank on April 11, Whistle Binkies North last Tuesday and the Purple Goat Restaurant last Thursday — investigators are aware of similar crimes in nearby communities. - ➤ Rochester police arrested two juvenile males suspected of carjacking a parked vehicle near the Gates of Rochester apartment complex on April 17 at 1:30 a.m.—officers later located the stolen car and detained the suspects, who now face second-degree robbery and carjacking charges. KROC

- ➤ Rochester students from John Marshall and Century High Schools won awards at the MN FCCLA State Conference in Bloomington—an event that brought together over 625 attendees and 100 volunteers from 41 schools. Several winners qualified for the nationals in Orlando this July while some earned scholarships and leadership opportunities. KIMT
