- ➤ A new study shows Minnesota now ranks as the 12th most expensive state to raise a child, with parents spending about $29,000+ per year on childcare, housing and daily expenses that exceed the national average. KROC-AM
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At Hoover Elementary, 5th grader Madison Buchholz spread kindness today by making personalized flower painting bookmarks for teachers, staff, and parents. She made about 30 to 40 bookmarks (one for each staff member) after getting permission during class time. KTTC

- ➤ The 30th Med City Marathon will take place May 16–17 in downtown Rochester — it kicks off with a Health Street Expo at Historic Chateau Theatre and family-friendly races on May 16 and wraps up on May 17 with full and half marathons finishing downtown with a block party. KROC-AM
