- ➤ Rochester Public Schools delayed a decision on eliminating the equity role amid more than $8 million in budget cuts as the district finalizes next year’s plan. Superintendent Kent Pekel said options will be developed (over the next month) to maintain equal opportunity for all students. KIMT
