- ➤ Dodge and Olmsted Victim Services is hosting a two-day event in support of sexual assault survivors today at Floral Hall at Graham Park, with a survivor’s circle starting at 6 p.m. and a resource fair featuring panels and crafts at 11 a.m.—the event is part of a national movement that invites the community to wear teal every Tuesday in April. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ An Olmsted County judge today issued an arrest warrant for 27-year-old Dylan Jakub Davis after he missed his court hearing for drug charges stemming from a February search that seized about 5.75 ounces of cocaine—Davis had been released without bail following his arraignment. KROC-AM
- ➤ Rochester Police arrested a wrong-way driver around 7:30 p.m. Thursday after he was spotted near an intersection with lane closures due to construction and crashed into a city building on West River Pkwy while striking multiple vehicles, and the fire department later confirmed the building is safe. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lane closures are in effect on I-90 at the Hwy-52 interchange to allow demolition of the eastbound overpass as crews advanced the start by four days for proper weather; demolition will begin Tuesday and detours will remain until the work ends in November—making it the second phase of a three-year project to rebuild the interchange. - ➤ Officials from the Minnesota Department of Transportation shifted lanes on I-90 last Friday for demolition preparations of the eastbound bridge over Highway 52, with the work set to begin next week and detours planned until November. The agency closed the eastbound off-ramp on Friday and will later direct drivers from southbound Highway 52 to access the ramp. KTTC
