- ➤ Fencing is being installed at Silver Lake Park as crews begin the first phase of a $9.7 million upgrade project that adds a new pool area, a bigger skate park, a better playground, a meeting area, a new basketball court and improved park shelters—sidewalks near the park will be closed during work while roads stay open. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police arrested a woman on Tuesday night at a Rochester home—no one was hurt and 28-year-old Mercedes Meyers, who had a verbal dispute with someone she knew, was taken into custody while a man had been shot in a separate incident on Monday. KROC
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Rochester and Minnesota revealed many 2025 construction projects including a new Link Bus Rapid Transit system with 12 stops on 2nd Street, roadway and sidewalk repairs, and intersection improvements—efforts that aim to enhance travel safety. The state transportation department said nearly 180 road projects will soon start statewide and urged drivers to use caution near work zones. KIMT
