- ➤ On Friday, a former Salvation Army client who once stayed in a Rochester motel with her son and faced vision challenges sponsored a Domino’s pizza party from 11:30 to 12:30 pm to repay the support she received when she was homeless — The Salvation Army said the donation fed 120 people and offered hope to others in need. - ➤ Late Thursday night in Kasson a fight sent a police officer bitten by a dog and two other men to a hospital; the suspect, 32-year-old Randy Marin, is in custody and faces a felony assault charge after he struck another man with frying pans. KROC

Liz Boldon introduced Senate File 983 to propose $250,000 in state funding for the Community Engagement Response Team in Rochester, which has worked since 2021 to curb violence and poverty by building trust between law enforcement and local residents.
