- ➤ Grizzly's Grill, known for its smoked dishes, will open this spring in Rochester at the soon-to-close Boulder Tap House (24 17th Ave. NW). Boulder Tap House's final day is April 12 and its famous cheese curds along with wood-smoked wings will remain for loyal fans. KROC-AM
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Jefferson Elementary School raised $25,000 at its fundraiser, surpassing the $20,000 goal for a new science room to support the Amplify curriculum. The school celebrated by having its principal and assistant principal kiss an anteater (fun for the kids) and a six-foot alligator chosen by students. KTTC
- ➤ Plainview-Elgin-Millville Elementary School hosted its annual Disability Awareness Clinic on Friday where 4th graders participated in six hands-on stations that demonstrated challenges in vision, hearing, physical, intellectual, communication, and learning areas (designed to foster inclusion). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Mayo Clinic in downtown Rochester has received a $75 million donation from the Grainger family for a high-tech logistics center to support its campus expansion; the facility will use AI+robots to automatically restock supplies and is scheduled to open by 2028. KROC-AM
