GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Rochester announced Wednesday it earned a AAA credit rating from Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s — the rating reflects the city’s strong regional economy and solid finances and will help lower borrowing costs; the city has held this high rating for nearly 50 years since first earning it in 1977.  KTTC
  • Rochester Public Works is installing all-way stop signs at the intersection of 14th Avenue SW and Peace Garden Drive SW today because backups have intermittently blocked the Mayo Clinic St. Marys emergency entrance.
