- ➤ After a heavy snowfall buried many hydrants, the Rochester Fire Department reminds residents (per its advisory) that clearing a 3-foot path around hydrants is essential for quick emergency access. Residents are urged to shovel them as soon as possible to help firefighters reach fires promptly. KROC-AM
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Rochesterfest 2026 online button voting is now open as announced on the festival's Facebook page. Voters can review submissions and cast one vote (one vote per email) until Tuesday, Mar. 24, and the winner will be announced on Monday, Mar. 30. KTTC
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The city recognized transit drivers on Wednesday in Rochester during Transit Driver Appreciation Day as the city hall dome lit up blue and green to honor RPT and ZIPS Paratransit drivers for their safe, reliable service. KTTC
- ➤ The Center Street Ramp will close on March 23 for repairs and remain shut until August. Alternative parking is available at nearby locations (including the 1st Street Ramp at 13 2nd Street Southeast). KIMT
