- ➤ At around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at Oakland Estates Mobile Home Park, a mobile home fire injured Susan Roche (69) who is now stable and receiving treatment at Regions Hospital Burn Center while her partner (76) died and investigators work to determine the cause. KTTC
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in Minnesota dropped to $2.58 per gallon this week (a 6.3-cent decline) while the national average rose to $2.87; ongoing refinery maintenance may push prices higher as summer demand grows. KROC-AM

- ➤ Rochester City Council will review preservation funding for two downtown historic buildings Wednesday—$500,000 for the Olmsted County Bank and $6,320 for Kruesel’s—to boost historic preservation downtown as part of the DMC Downtown Infrastructure Investment Program approved by the DMCC Board.
