- ➤ Mayo Clinic welcomed its first baby of 2026 when Xaden Lee Heeder was born at 11:11 a.m. on New Year's Day; his parents, Liz Raimann and Xavier Heeder, said they appreciated the dedicated care by the medical staff (doctors, nurses, and midwives). KIMT
- ➤ From Jan. 2 to Jan. 30, the Mayo Clinic Blood Donor Program in Rochester offers donors a chance to win a new snowblower when they donate blood or platelets and fill out a giveaway slip (all donors also receive a bonus car bumper magnet).
